Hey all!
Posted on my other site, natedamm.com about the last day – includes lots of photos and a video of me walking into the ocean. There is also some info about the book I’m working on, for those of you (and there’s been a lot!) asking about that.
If you are interested in keeping up with me now that the walk is over, just click on the “subscribe” link on the left side of the page at natedamm.com and enter your email. If you aren’t interested, that’s cool too!
Thanks so much for all the support along the way. I wouldn’t have made it without you all.

Congratulations on doing what many of us would think was impossible! You certainly live up to your aspiration to be an inspiration.
Hopped over from Chris Guillebeau’s blog to tell you that you are awesome!
Can’t wait to read your book.
I also heard about your trek from Chris G, fantastic! This is something you’ll remember for a lifetime, no regrets. So the real question is, what is next?
I am another Chris G. referral. Super inspiring accomplishment. Much congratulations and best wishes!
Nate, first congradulations on your sucess! What a great story in the post, as I read thru it I began to tear up on your stories and of how much I want to do what you did. You remind me of me in alot of ways, Ive always loved nature and wanted to hike the app. trail, bike to Florida when I was a kid and now when the time is right I will began a journey just like yours. I think what you did you were able to soak it all up and enjoy everything slowly. Everyone needs to something of this magnitude because of the respect it shows us and the true meaning behind it all. You say you may never find yourself but I think you did you just dont know it yet and only time will tell you. Again thanks for letting me follow you and inspiring me to do the same. I will keep up with you along the way and let you know when I set on my own journey. Take care and enjoy life!!
I’m also here via Chris G’s Art of non-conformity.
Congratulations!
I’ve been looking around your blog; interesting!
Hi Nate
I bet it feels good to be back home. After you write your book, have you thought anymore about doing another walk?
Looking forward to reading your book, I am interested in buying one. Here is a idea you can describe what a a normal day was and what it felt like when you camped out.
Good luck,dude
please keep in touch if you want my home address I would be willing to send it to you.
Thanks
Congrats, Nate! Found you thru Chris G’s site – and I’m sorry I found you as your walk is ending…I live in Camden, Maine and am excited you started in the Pine Tree State!
I walked across Spain in 2001, and while not as ambitious as your journey, I can say that it changed my life in numerous ways, as well – some still revealing themselves 10 years later.
One of the hardest parts for me afterward was the muscle memory of daily walking – my body needed to keep moving every day, so once I returned home, I’d walk EVERYWHERE. So keep it up!
All my best!
Kellie
Nate, it was wonderful to see you just beaming this evening with your mom Edie, dinner and wonderful conversation a la L’Heureux Asian cuisine! We loved hearing your stories- can’t wait to read and hear much more. Enjoy Thanksgiving at home with your family! Love, Dick and Julie
I think you are incredible. I am so proud of you and so happy to know there are those on earth willing to get a bit uncomfortable for the sake of living a full life and learning a bit along the way. Well Done!

Why does the info provided in your inaofmrtion always appear to be a matter of history? You are offering me info about upcoming Firefox 4.0b7, which you note is delayed until December, while I am now running Firefox 4.0b8. Maybe, there is a difference in the tree matrix and I am on a different limb?
Now comes the payoff: the cash flow from your endeavor, which of course you had no idea would happen: the book, the movie and maybe a T shirt
